4th October 2017 - Design for Need, Puzzle
By Matt McClumpha
Hello and welcome back to our puzzle series. ‘Why are you still doing puzzles you ask?’ Well, here at Design for Need we believe it is always important to always be thinking of new possibilities, and what better way than through problem solving. This week you’re looking for the station after having a delicious coffee, but wait it’s not marked on the map?! How are you going to solve this one?
The Problem
Hint 1 - Try envisioning the route you would take from the fountain to the library, then apply the same route to the cafe.
Hint 2 - Imagine you're giving someone directions: “Go out the door turn left, then turn left at the second junction”. Something like that, right?
Hint 3 - Here are the directions from the fountain to the library: “Go out the door turn left, then turn left at the second junction. Pass two junctions and the library will be on your left”. Now apply this to the cafe.
The Solution
If you take the same route you’ll end up at E, fantastic navigation if you got the correct answer. Of course there are several different routes you can take however you’ll always end up at the same location. See you next week for some more puzzles, only two more to go till the series ends!
