Pure Water
The first project which inspired the creation of Design for Need. Pure Water was initiated to improve the water purification system for Bambui, Cameroon. The focus of the improvements was creating chemical-free disinfection process using sunlight, enabling safe drinking water which could save the lives of many.
Monkey Mayhem
Situated in the Western Himalayas in Northern India, this project aimed to protect a variety of crops from wildlife. Due to deforestation, wildlife had begun to move into populated areas, raiding and damaging crops. The complete solution consisted of three individual components which were designed to work with wildlife rather than against it.
